Importance of Native Plants
This program will capture the nature of Native plants and why they are important to the Earth. We will discover why native plants are needed, what pollinators use them for food and how Native plants effect the overall health of our food web. This is part One of a Two part series. Next Program will be on How to Plant your own Native Garden.
Did you know native plants play a vital role in our ecosystem? Learn about the importance of incorporating native plant species in landscaping during this presentation by Becki Wells, the president of the Quad Cities chapter of Wild Ones.
Registration required via Engaged Patrons for in-house guests only. Limited to 20 participants.
Join us again on June 5 when Becki returns to discuss how to plan and plant native plants in your own landscaping and gardens.
