Hauberg Estate Native Plant Sale
Are you ready to fill your gardens with beautiful and essential native plants?!?!
SAVE THE DATE for our native plant sale on Saturday, May 18 from 9am – 4pm and Sunday, May 19, from 10am – 4pm! The sale will be located at the Hauberg Estate Carriage House. 1300 24th Street, Rock Island, IL, 61201.
Wild Ones will be offering presale flats. There will be two options for sunny sites: Sunny with Sandy & Dry Soil, and Sunny with Medium to Moist Soil. Please take a look at each of these options below. Each flat will come with 16 plants at a cost of $85. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds go towards supporting our programs and our mission: to put as many native plants in the ground as possible and to teach as many people as possible the importance of native plants. We couldn’t do it without the support of wonderful people like you! THANK YOU!
A selection of these plants are exclusive to our presale! If you want any of the following, be sure to preorder: culver’s root, meadow blazing star, prairie phlox, blue sage, large flower penstemon, new jersey tea, pale purple coneflower, smooth blue aster, dotted mint, lance-leaf coreopsis, stiff goldenrod, early sunflower, sweet black-eyed susan, bottle brush grass, and hoary vervain.
In addition, to everyone who orders a flat from us, we will be offering an educational class on May 7 from 5:30 – 7pm at the Hauberg Estate Carriage House. This class will be “Let’s Get our Native Plants in the Ground – Tips for Success!” There, our native plant experts and enthusiasts will give you all the info you need to get your native garden started this spring!
