Oh my goodness, Wild Ones! We are SO excited to show you a current list of the seeds we have available for our Seed Swap on November 10! The Seed Swap will be held at the Butterworth Education Center. See our Calendar for more information.
Some of these seeds have been collected by us, and some have been generously donated by three wonderful native seed companies! Shooting Star Native Seeds, OPN Seed, and Prairie Moon Nursery have all sent seeds for us to share with you. We are so, so thankful to them!
What does this mean for you? If you are new to native gardening and do not have seeds to swap, please do not hesitate to come! You do not have to bring any seeds. We WANT to get these native seeds into the hands of our members. We will have experts available at the swap to help you “shop” as well as information about germination and winter sowing options. We want these seeds to turn into hundreds, if not thousands, of native plants come next spring. Squeeeeee!
If you are looking for what to collect from your home garden, take a look at the list to see what we already have plenty of, and what we do not have at all. If it’s not on this list, we do not have seed (yet!).
Remember, straight native species only! No cultivars or non-natives.
