Workday @ Munson Township Cemetery Prairie Sunday Nov 1st - Join Illinois Native Plant Society and Friends of Illinois Nature Preserve for a workday at Munson Township Cemetery Prairie (Cambridge IL) this Sunday November 1st at 2pm. The focus will be seed collection with discussion of the upcoming prescribed burn. Folks are invited to join for lunch before the workday at Thai Town Cafe in downtown Geneseo at 12:30pm.
All tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own clippers for seed collection if you like. It should be a lovely time to wander through the autumnal prairie and soak in the last of the growing season. Please let me know if you plan to attend.
