Quad Cities Chapter of Illinois Native Plant Society will present an exciting lecture on Nov 15th at Hauberg Estate.

The Driftless Area: Unique Plants and Animals from a Geographical and Geological View" By Randy Nyboer

The lecture will be the first part of their Monthly Meeting, and then their Chapter business will follow.

Some of our WO members belong to both Native Plant groups. We support each other in our communities. Getting the word out about Native Plants!

" Join us for our General Meeting that will kick off with a presentation about the unique "Driftless Area," which comprises the areas spared from glaciation in the last major ice age! The Driftless Area extends from the Northwestern corner of Illinois up to Southeastern Minnesota and from Northeastern Iowa to Southwestern Wisconsin. Randy Nyboer is President of the Whiteside County Natural Area Guardians and is a former Department of Natural Resources Biologist with years of experience working in the conservation of the State's resources. He's an invaluable resource, and we're excited to have him speak and share his knowledge." Shared with Wild Ones--  Samantha Chavez, Chapter President of Illinois Native Plant Society.
